I hope you enjoyed your holidays! I’m writing today to share some exciting news with you! I’ve always strived to provide quality service and advice. As such, I’ve made it a personal goal of mine to always be on the lookout for opportunities that may exist for my clients to better their financial situations. Today, I’m writing to share with you such an opportunity.
Over the past several months, I have been exploring the possibilities of merging my practice with another firm. As I sought out the best place for myself and all of you, I wanted to make sure that wherever we “landed” was going to be the perfect “home.” I wanted to find a “home” that provided top notch service, an incredible client experience, and a wide array of financial planning and accounting services. I’m thrilled to announce my firm’s merger with local firm, Retirement Benefit Advisors, LLC.
There’s a good chance you’ve heard of Retirement Benefit Advisors, LLC, as they are a well-respected name in the Tulsa/Sand Springs arena in Oklahoma. If you haven’t heard of Retirement Benefit Advisors, LLC, you’ll be happy to hear that their roots in Tulsa/Sand Springs go back to the 1980’s.

A: The merger officially takes place January 1, 2017
Q: How will this affect my accounts?
A: This will not affect your accounts at all. Your money is still invested exactly the same way it always has been. You will experience no change in your investments. However, as a result of additional services available through Retirement Benefit Advisors, LLC, every client is entitled to and encouraged to do a review of their current policies.
Q: Does this mean that Don Trotter is retiring?
A: No. I still intend to continue in the financial planning profession. However, it was important to me that my clients be taken care of and establish relationship with other professionals that I trust so their plans can go forward uninterrupted when I do decide to retire.

Q: Who will be my advisor?
